Does anyone have estimated specs to run Cogmind?
« on: October 11, 2015, 04:15:17 PM »

I am currently running Cogmind with no problem, but I just bought an Asus T100 transforming tablet.  It's like a netbook with detachable keyboard.  It runs windows 8 (gonna upgrade to 10).  I'm just wondering if anyone has something like minimum specs to run Cogmind?  If not, I'll try it and report back on if it works or not.

System requirements are listed on the buy page. In terms of capabilities, any computer from the past 8 years or so is fine.

Thanks, I didn't notice them before.  My PC is a beast so I just assume anything will run on it.

It looks like I should be just fine with my transformer netbook thing.  It should make lunch breaks at work a lot less boring!

Hehe, yep. The biggest need is the CPU--the T100 is good enough in that regard; the main issue will be the resolution--Cogmind on a 768p screen can be pretty dense for some people. (I'll be looking to eventually release a new version that re-arranges the UI to help with that.)
