-11 I've scored a small storage off a hapless scavenger, A boon to the run I feel.
-10 I stumbled into two swarms of pests quickly, not how I'd like to have started but the situation didn't get out of hand. I've acquired four or so flight units due to this so may as well use them, these assault rifles are Light anyway. A light Ion engine along with them and I'm clearing ground quickly. I'm using an improved terrain scanner and terrain scan processor combo to progress with a better idea of my destination, if a little slowly.
-9 Combination of speed and awareness allows me to travel unmolested, I sniff around terminals for information to assist me. My lack of firepower and increasingly diminishing matter from avoiding conflict are becoming a concern. If I'm engaged now I don't have the resources for a prolonged fight, nore the armour to forge a path.
-8 It must have been over a thousand ticks now, I'm trapped here. This area I have ascended into only seems to have one exit, a long thin corridor, defenders secure it and patrols seem to pass often, maybe looking for me. I'm desperately low on resources now and I'm picking the bones of this place to sustain my efforts. every time I try to leave there seems to be a patrol passing, i wish i had the resources or tools to break these walls.
success, free of my prison and with some fancy VTOL propulsion as well as EM shotguns to show for it, this increase in carry capacity and ability to harvest weaker foes for matter more effectively has replenished my needs for now, finally I can proceeed.
Something magical has happened. After a particularly slippery scout evaded a good 8 volleys of fire and gleefully informed a nearby armoured lurker on the stairs of my efforts i found myself hiding by a door way hoping my shots land true and it comes alone. The first volley, the electromagnetic gods smile and it just shuts down before my eyes. An excited disabling of my VTOLs so i can actually get at the thing to fiddle with it and i now have a pet armoured lurker, or Defender 3A as he likes to be called. It's in pretty good condition for something i tried to kill, I hope this isn't a short-lived friendship.

We spend a lot of time hiding, waiting for chances to move.
-7 me and D3 arrive, somewhat delayed by his treads but I value his company. I hide him away and set about getting a lay of the land. I'm enjoying a broad suite of sensor arrays, though I'm hampered by the weight limitations of these thrusters, I'm finding the speed coupled with intel is highly effective at picking fights as i want them.
I'm waiting at a door with D3, things could get pretty hairy in a minute so I'm glad I have some backup I can trust.. but what's this.. Defender A4.. well, i guess he leveled up. He'll always be D3 to me though. Well.. sensors showed more of a fight coming than i wanted and old D3 was never very fast on his feet..

-6 My parts are starting to seem dated. Though in good condition they're behind in technology. They serve me well though as I slip around the area. The spear has surprisingly good mining capabilities, coupled with my sensor suites i can make my own path to places i need to be, or not be. Swapped out my spear for a power sword, I love a good sword, though i may miss the core piercing.
A patrol passes through the room as my only power core is being repaired.. tense.
-5 big wide hallways, make me nervous. I'm soon seeing all manner of bad things lurking on the sensor sweeps. I also however, found the exit to -4 near immediately. My reactor is barely keeping the thrusters running at this point. I have to stop frequently in order to recharge. This seems wiser than powering down my sensor suites as at this point with no spares and such old and fragile equipment an engagement I didn't expect could prove terminal. I live in fear of a hidden door and jamming, I've gotta get a structure sensor from somewhere.
peeking through the doors near the exit, i saw a big pile of real shiny thrusters. Excited at the long awaited upgrade and possible speeds i rushed in, only to be met by gunfire from a defender lurking in the wall. falling back and rearming to engage i take him down, only to find another attacking via a hole in the wall from the prior engagement. This is soon followed by additional slugs ripping through other walls. As though the situation isn't bad enough a report sounds for reinforcements to be dispatched to my area.. it's clear i won't be getting them without a fight at this point, I have no choice but to flee up the stairs.
-4 I lost a few utilities in the exchange escaping -5, while this takes the edge off my resource situation it leaves me without terrain scanning and i feel naked having grown used to it. having fled a fight just to get here i'm concerned, while i have weapons of reasonable power, i cant risk a fight for fear of my thrusters being torn apart.
Calamity. while a scout was jamming my sensors a swarmer wandered into the room i was in.. the gunfire was soon to follow, ripping through the walls and into various explosive machinery. The entire room was gone, my already weary components shook ever less firm in the blast leaving several commandos and programmers staring at me in a now wide open space. I attempt to flee immediately as I'm picked apart by their ongoing barrage. I've lost most my components and I'm dropping what i don't need to keep up speed on my limping thrusters. I'm fleeing blindly now and passing through a doorway i spot an exit stair, at the same time a cloud of swarmers around it spot me. I duck into the room again, powering down all my devices to generate as much energy as i can to keep the thrusters going in case I lose or have to ditch my power-core on the dash to the stairs.
The swarmers arrive first, light assault rifle fire annoucning their arrival. i made my move, darting through them and making for the stairs. My weight distrobution system proving its weight in gold in keeping an anti matter reactor airborne and at speed with such little propultion. Just as the pursueing heavier forces arrive i'm at the stairs and it's too late to stop me. Though I've suffered huge damage to make it this far.
-3 I've made it. I've got all the slots in the world and nothing to fill them with, my kit is bare bones and borderline functional. If i don't find some supplies before something else finds me, it's gonna be a sad end to a good run.
!! It's grown Too late on a work night to continue. I look forward to returning. This may actually be my high score run.. but it's been quick evasive so probably not that high scoring.
Things were quiet and I managed to lure a few workers and scrap them for parts, a whole bunch of wheels.. great. Two assassins and a programmer, the wheels fell apart instantly. Won that fight but now another two appear, this isn't gonna end well. a continued slaughter and desperate fleeing see me scrape into the exit, after body slamming a sentry off it, almost naked and with a sliver of core left.

-2 being basically naked, blind and unarmed i set about gathering some parts. Before long huge sums of attention are upon me and I end up cornered, there is no hope. I came far, but didn't achieve a lot in the grand scale.
