About those distress signals
« on: March 19, 2018, 05:39:29 AM »

It seems that Sentries alert nearby robots when they spot you, similar to a watcher, but they don't seem to have an animation or message to that effect. Is that intentional? Am I just missing the message / animation in the heat of the moment? e.g. one time as a flying bot a nearby patrol of swarmers stopped meandering and started heading straight towards me when I walked into a Sentry's room.

Only watchers have a noticeable alert. All combat bots (not just Sentries), alert any nearby combat bots within their alert range, which is short for most robots so you don't notice it quite as often but with Sentries it's further away. This is the main reason Transmission Jammers are quite useful.
