[10.2] Dialogue sound during Imprinting
« on: December 22, 2021, 10:01:03 AM »

The sound for the Imprinter's dialogue may play at the same moment you begin Imprinting. Doesn't occur if the Imprinter begins the Imprinting dialogue on your next turn instead of on the turn you Imprint.

Sure you're not mistaking something here? I can't find any way to recreate this, regardless of speed or timing (and it's quite surprising that out of all the many times people have imprinted over the years it's never been reported!). How is it even possible to do?

Just to make sure there's no mistake, i'm talking about the dialogue sound, not the actual dialogue box itself.

Here's one of your runs, at the 2 hour mark, you imprint, and The Imprinter's sound for dialogue plays :

For comparison, the dialogue sound The Imprinter makes can also be found at about 1:57:30 in the same video, and will not happen in this other video at 37:50 :

Oh yeah I see what you mean there, sheesh that's hard to even make out--I had to listen to it on high volume repeatedly a few times before I even noticed since it all happens so fast and there's a bunch of sfx going anyway xD

Yeah not going to do anything about this one since it's a minor thing that's so hard to notice and doesn't really make much of a difference (but would waste a bunch of time to address).
