Matter storage unit extra matter

If you have over 300 matter and you lose a matter storage unit bringing your max matter back to 300, the extra matter vanishes into the aether.

Correct, it was inside the storage unit so it was destroyed along with it :P

If you simply remove or drop the unit it will be stored normally.
