You could simply add the TU reduction for swapping items in existing item, integration mediator and such that already recude the matter cost of attaching items. So you wouldn't have two very specialized items, just one still quite specialized one.

Great to see it's working, thanks for checking. Can't see how it could get to 85% though, I didn't have heat and it shouldn't have targeting computer, and it certainly shouldn't have analysis of ME. Oh well.

You should get +5% evasion against robots you have analysed, right? Is this working correctly?



It looks like the adjacent G-34 Mercenary has 60+15r+10m=85% to hit me, shouldn't there be -5a as well?

Thanks for checking this out. So for small/tiny robots, in addition to having -10%/-30% for shots against them, they also have a bonus miss chance. I'll keep this in mind.

Sometimes combat log doesn't report what part of the robot you hit. If you destroy the part it doesn't show in the combat log, but it does show in the regular log. But sometimes in other cases it also isn't reported.
The combat log was only added (by request back during the 7DRL) to provide additional information that isn't in the regular log, which is why you won't see part destruction messages. Not sure what you mean isn't being reported where, but I'm sure there's an explanation (i.e. it's intentional) since it's very simple code without any kinds of special exceptions. The whole combat log needs to be worked, though, actually (or at least reassessed), but I haven't gotten to that yet since I've always seen it as pretty low priority.

Here is an example where I hit a swarmer with a minigun and the hit location isn't listed.

Weapon accuracy shows -10? when it should presumably show +10 for size.
The -10 you see listed out by the weapon when firing is not size-related, but appears because you have some system corruption, which can reduce your accuracy. This is also why it has a '?' beside it, because it may not actually take effect (only a chance, but it's there to remind you of that possibility). Any modifiers listed beside weapons in targeting mode are weapon-specific, so you won't see anything related to the target there.

So that was what was going on. I though that ? signified "unknown" when it signifies "random". Good that things are working like they should be.

I have med. laser and lgt. assault rifle equipped and active. When in firing mode and beyond the range of lgt. assault rifle, the volley analysis readout says that the volley will cost 180 time units, so it applies the delay modifier from lgt. assault rifle even if it is out of range. With only one weapon activated, it works as expected.

Also if you have full info, the probability of hitting the part you hit is shown, even if you don't have scan enhancer that would show you robot parts and chance to hit them, but that might be intended.
