This week's seed: ElectronPulseMapper
The Weekly Seed is open to anyone, and we encourage you to share your experiences, stories, and tactics over the course of your run.
The rules are as follows:
* The Weekly Seed begins from the date this thread is posted and lasts about seven days.
* Make sure you are running the correct version of Cogmind (see thread subject).
* Enter the seed and abort your current game to initiate the seed (more details are below).
* Verify you are not running the tutorial and that the screenshots below match your game.
* Play through the game once. This is a friendly event and we are all honest people.
* When finished, post your scoresheet here (it should be the newest file in /scores) and any other screenshots/stories/strategies you wish to share with the community.
* If you want to share details about the seed or your approach, make sure you use spoiler tags.
* Due to the spoilerific nature of this thread, be sure to avoid reading details about the seed if you haven't completed your run.
* As Cogmind now has multiple difficulty modes and challenges which will affect the world generation, by default it is assumed everyone is playing on regular difficulty with no challenges enabled. You are free to use whichever settings you wish, but if you intend on discussing it, be sure to specify what difficulty/challenges you're using!

HOW TO ENTER A SEED
Press F1 to go to the MENU, select OPTIONS, select Seed, and enter this week's seed:
Select GAME, select ABORT:
If you have followed the steps [Manual seed applied: ElectronPulseMapper] should display in the log window.
Congratulations on entering the seed, now get in there!

My short but eventful attempt:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)I began the game with threads and weapons which I found at the scrapyard. Then, at -10/Materials, I found my favorite items on this level - grenade launcher and several storage units (I attached two of them immediatly). So, I thought that I can move further, but first I tried Force(tunnel) on the recycling unit and discovered Quarantine at -3! Inspired by this success, I visited -10/Mines.
There I found friendly robot, but he didn't want to go with me, so I left him to patrole and start to investigate level. "Taste my vengeance!" - said the lonely friendly bot when I saw him the second time. What did this mean? I just didn't know, as always, and proceed investigation until found the second derelict, which gave me mining laser and came with me. "I will have vengeance!" - said the first derelict, when I met him again. Maybe he will said what happened if I will wait for some time? "Unaware killed my best friend! Vengeance!" - said he some time later. Too bad, but I couldn't ressurect his dead buddy (because there is no necromancy in this game as I know)... so I just waited more nearby to, maybe, cheer him up a bit. Meanwhile, the second derelict tired to wait and slipped back into the shadows. So I decided that it was time to go for me too and went away to -9/Materials.-9
Spoiler (click to show/hide)And what a great surprise was there! Advanced sensor arrays just nearby my spawn point! I attached third storage and took them with me. Soon I met a technician which tried to snitch on me, but my gun punished him for this dirty intension. Then I also punished several angry robots and found some useful items, while went through the level, as usual...-8/-7
Spoiler (click to show/hide)At -8/Materials I was lucky again and found adv. terrain scanner, several adv. signal interpreters and scanalyzers to save scematics of these useful items. Also there were not much problems with enemies. But at -7/Materials I wasn't so lucky... no great items, but a lot angry robots damaged me. I wasn't happy about that and went to -7/Caves. So, I wandered for a while and found Zion. There I chatted with funny bots, found new friends and learned codes for deep caves. Despite I had only nearly 50% core integrity, I thought that, may be, with friends I will able to overcome at least some enemies in this location. I taked their photo for memory, because I knew that not all of them probably will return:
When we entered deep caves, one of them asked: "are you sure about that?" Ironicaly, soon angry impriter killed that buddy. I could only kill Impriter itself as a revenge and take the leg of my friend - all what left of it.
Then I met some assembled and - pity! - they were lucky enough to destroy my launchers! Two remaning friends tried to protect me and went ahead heroically but were destroyed by angry assembled. I tried to flee, but this try wasn't successful and soon I was destroyed too. :(Scoresheet:

The best approach is to just keep your sensors safe from harm, they should last a very long time. At the most you should only ever carry one backup at a time :)

About deep caves:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)Some time ago I was lucky enough to kill Imprinter and assembled there, to take good "zio" items and return - all that in the almost the same state as at this time... but also that time I had a rocket array, and may be that was crucial.
However, as an little off-topic: I never was able to kill golems ;D
