Title: [Beta 13] Mouse auto-pathing goes around repaired/collapsed walls
Post by: R-26 Lightspeed on April 19, 2024, 02:51:17 AM
As visible in the attached screenshot, mouse auto-pathing completely avoids the shorter path through the broken tiles, because those tiles have been repaired since the last time i saw them (from the north side).

At least i think that's what's happening here. I don't *think* auto-pathing is trying to avoid collapsable tiles?
I'll try to investigate more later to make sure.

Autopathing does avoid collapsed tiles by default as of Beta 13. To get through via mouse you need to move adjacent to them to show that's your intent.

Oh, that's so nice! Thank you for that change, I always disliked how autopathing moved me through collapsed tiles, especially when moving long distances.
I'm surprised i didn't notice the auto-avoidance in my first Beta 13 run. Habit of segmenting mouse movements to avoid pathing through collapsed tiles, i suppose. (I mean i did notice it, but only in the very last area, so i thought it was a special case...)
