This is a manual for me to tell me where to go on certain conditions from -10 to -8, please give back critical feedback so I can get better😉

MINES: go to the mines if you have only taken a chip or two of damage and if you have a launcher plus essentials
* special note *
In the exiles take farcom if you lack parts, if you lack a lot of parts than take all you can! Go to research if well prepared
* end special note *
STORAGE: go to storage if you are really prepared
RECYCLING: go to recycling if prepared or have sensors to avoid spotters
(The name is because revision is the tutorial bot)

General Discussion / Non interactive machines, interactive?

I was looking at the names of some machines and thought they should be interactive!
Like the core extractor should have a place to step in, and any robot that steps in is extracted!
Or the laser drill having a terminal to activate it, and it continually shoots a laser

Now I’m going to try and make a challenge so here I am.

Geek challenge,
The rules:
You can only use hacking weapons
You are not allowed to be allied to the warlord or his friends
You are not allowed to hurt or betray the exiles
You may not use armor or treads
You can’t be have a operator lock a terminal more than 3 times

Tell me about your experience with this challenge, if anyone does it  :-\

Make cogmind figurines, maybe ones that move there body parts! I really want to make a scene of a thug being compacted by a compacter! I really want one because I get really bored of not seeing what I’m playing! You could even sell a spotter drone for 50$ and I would buy it, now I don’t no about you guys but I love playing with video game figurines, and if you don’t do it or anyone else than I will put myself into a computer, become a thug, and fight for Zion!!!

Please please please!!!

I was doing a run with speed and sensors, no weapons when I reached -6 extension out of my ever growing curiosity and died, I got such a low score! This is when I realized that running is easy and doesn’t really contribute to score besides pacifist and speed runs, so I looked at the trailer and realized that when it said EVADE it meant SEEK AND DESTROY or AVOID THE BIG BOTS and that kind of ruined my fun with flight, and just when I was getting used to wings!!!

But what I’m saying is, make running away a bigger part of the score and make it harder to run away(like a robot, not a swarm, but something that is designed to cut off your escape route by going and bringing robots to the nearest exit, something like that)

I was thinking “cogmind seems to be smarter, and does a lot of things only certain robots can do.
Like:
Attach and detach
Be immune to hacking
Has a strong core
Evolve
be the chosen one
Etc.
I thought, sounds pretty cool... right?
But the only thing I wanted was things being built all around me and be able to do what certain robots can;Build.Repair.Replace.Be an engineer...
BRRB! The dream I wish would happen right now!

An urgent order, cogmind needs to be able to build
Have Builder classes carry a built-in builder unit that you can only take out using a new group of melee weapons and utilities called the removers! There will be the M series robots with the weapons which would allow removal, and a utility which will allow you to install built-in-parts.

Next, you can install all sorts of stuff like the built in drone bay(H series) or(I’m guessing here) communications (W series). When you destroy a robot, built in parts will be inside a thing called x body
(Where x is name).

The next thing is the downside, If you try and remove parts from a robot that died of terminal corruption, you may reactivate a gun or a leg and injure yourself, or if your trying to touch a watcher with communication, you may trigger it to use a distress signal.



I spent waaaay to much time on this.

Ideas / new things for robot efficiency

carrier ideas:
carriers can carry combat units, but what if you could hack them so that you can assimilate what is inside
maybe have them be able to put itself back together so it can be reused
have a machine which gives you the ability to fold(or maybe have that with the RIF) so you can go inside
hauler ideas:
have them restock storage
repair station: if a robot has a specific part damaged, after a battle they can repair it via repair station
operators: able to unlock terminals after threat is passed
thugs: pick up stuff
communications:
have communication units for transmissions, and if Cogmind picks one up he can attempt to give orders to allies
