So I've gotten to Zion for the second or third time and again have blown up their personality machine, but I'm not sure what happens from there. I've taken a brief look around trying to avoid other spoilers and trying to see if the Imprinter does anything else other than transmit data to the caves.
In short, do I gain anything by staying in Zion after that event or should I just leave and whatever it is will happen later on?

Aside from the usual exploring the area to talk to others who might offer help, regarding that development specifically yeah you can go ahead and leave.
When you get back to 0b10 remember to try some manual terminal hacks :)
