I have retested and indeed everything works as intended (I didn't make any changes, but ran everything as it was before).
Additionally, I moved everything to the latest version (221229a), and everything works without any failures too.
Now I feel like the same user who complains about something, and when the senior came to look, everything works as it should.
In my defense, I tested on two different computers, checked firewall logs and sniffed traffic for any anomalies before any reporting :'(
Perhaps I was really lucky to get into some kind of strange coincidence.
Thank you very much for your time spent on checking this case. And at the end of the day, no matter that no changes were made, but the gentle gaze of the creator corrected all the flaws in the "news" section :D

Oh, no worries, it's doesn't require any haste at all. I would even prefer you to spend these time with your family instead of me taking away your holidays with such trifles. Work and code can wait :)

I migrated my /user from an older Cogmind version and after that when I try to open the News section the game crashes immediately.
Without old files all works fine.
Is there any chance to fix this migration or is it time to start my new journey? :)

Now we see quantity of slots which have been occupied by some hardware before the shutdown.
It wouldn't be more useful to see the number of evolutions instead? Then it would be possible to draw more conclusions, looking at the general statistics when direct influence of set of evolutions to location or/end score.

When I wrote this topic, have been sure that there are several utils where it is necessary to add counters. But even after check of gallery I can't remember other objects. So yes, only one :)

Subj. System backup module, for example. Counter could show how many turns remained to corruption purge. Sometimes it seems to me that such modules do nothing. With the counter it will be more evident. Or, maybe, it's a part of challenge? :)

Everything REXPaint / [feature request] hide some dirs in file browser

Hello.
I want to ask to add a feature for ignoring (an opportunity to exclude from the list) some files or directories in the file browser.
Or an opportunity to collapse "empty" subdirectories.
I use git for operation with an art, and in case of a huge changelog - git directory takes a lot of place in the file browser.
Simple example with a young repository:

Hey there!

It's not currently possible, no, but support for larger (unlimited) numbers of characters is planned for a future release. It will definitely happen at some point, but I can't say when for sure. (It should be during or shortly after the dynamic UI overhaul, and that's a rather large project!)

Oh I see. I will patiently wait for this update. I have begun to wait already right now! Ohhh... time runs so slowly! :)

I feel a strong lack of some characters. Whether there is a possibility of creation of a own font with a larger map of symbols (more then 256 chars)?
