Well, that's really the question, isn't it? I mean, the point of the whole game is to find the up-stairs to heal, and advance and escape, and all your deadly weapons or hacking skills are only there in support of that.

If I'm lacking a grenade launcher, my strategy so far has been to run away and hope I find a staircase. The crowds of nonhostile bots can provide some cover in the larger hallways.

Trapped by several dangerous bots, I attempted to ram my free through an enemy filled hallway, and then this happened:
The issue persists on saving and reloading. From the intro animation, I know that the Cogmind is actually at the north end of that hallway, though the LOS calculation stopped updating.
I had about 9% system corruption at this point, if that's at all a relevant detail.

I'd think it would work, reportedly it has no problems running under Wine on Linux. I've gotten plenty of games running on Mac with wine, but unfortunately I no longer own a mac to check out how Cogmind runs.
